At the last general meeting, Cindi Hutchinson was there. She took notes of our immediate speeding problem in our neighborhood and she took action. Just for your info this is the email from her today.
Great Job Cindi!!
God Bless,
John
John and Rhonda...after your meeting last Tuesday evening I sent an e-mail to Major Harrington begging for some traffic enforcement. Looks like they're doing a great job! Wanted to share this with you...Cindi

Julie. Our Motor Officers are doing a bang-up job in this area. 26 citations written between yesterday and today. Captain Bollinger will continue to address for the early part of next week. Tom

Awesome, we really need to stop the speeding cars in our neighborhood. I really don't want to see a dog or child get hit by a car that is speeding the down the street. Thanks Cindi and FLPD
I does not help if the police only set up speed check points when there is a complaint . In areas that you know you have speeding cars it should be done on a regular basis and don't set up in the same place exact all the time . Point in hand if you go to 17th st causeway and federal at rush hour you could sit on the side street next to burger king pulling over 3-5 cars every light cycle just for cars heading south bound on federal running red lights and blocking the intersection for other cars that now have a green light and the right of way and would like to go to work or home themselves .
